PHOTO TO VIDEO

How do I turn a photo into an AI video?

To turn a photo into an AI video, start with a clear image, choose a scene template, check the crop and select whether you need sound. In SnapToClip, one approved reference photo is used for a five-second vertical clip. Creation is available only when the studio’s generation and safety services are ready.

Should I use AI video or photo animation?

Choose AI video when you want the subject to move in a newly generated setting. A model interprets the reference photo and template directions, so facial likeness, hands, packaging and motion can change. The style image is a direction, not a guarantee of the finished scene.

Choose photo animation when keeping the original picture is more important than inventing a new setting. SnapToClip adds camera motion, particles and optional text to the existing image. This mode can include a browser-composed instrumental soundtrack. It is not an AI scene transformation.

How should I prepare my reference photo?

Use one well-lit JPG, PNG or WebP under 10 MB. A clean background and an unobstructed subject make the crop easier to judge. Leave room around a face or product because the current preview and output are vertical 9:16. A landscape group shot may lose people at the edges.

For an adult couple, use a single photo with both people clearly visible. Separate uploads are not supported by the current studio. For a pet, keep its eyes and distinctive markings visible. For a product, favor clear edges and readable packaging, while expecting AI to introduce imperfections.

What are the steps in SnapToClip?

The complete creation flow stays on the homepage. Signing in and consenting to safety processing are required before an uploaded photo can appear in the preview.

  1. Choose a portrait, pet or product template on the homepage.
  2. Check that creation is available, sign in and confirm photo permission and safety processing.
  3. Upload one photo, wait for review and inspect the vertical crop.
  4. Choose AI video or photo animation. For AI, choose silent output or supported original sound.
  5. Create once, follow the saved task and review the finished clip before downloading.

Can I add captions, music or a longer story?

Custom headline and brand text belong to the photo-animation mode. They are not automatically included in AI-generated output. AI sound requests original instrumental or scene audio rather than an existing commercial song. If you need captions or a multi-scene narrative, plan a separate editing step after download.

The current AI studio targets five seconds, not a 15- or 25-second story. Silent AI generation uses 1 site credit and supported sound uses 2. There is no guaranteed completion time. Check the studio status before starting; a paused review service blocks both creation modes.
